Some people think that recycled plastic will be the fashion fabric of the future. Do you know that? Some of those people looking at ways to recycle plastic bottles for use in the fashion industry in a bid to halt the landfill crisis.

Yukie Nakano, who is also a research assistant in the Centre for Design Research, experiments with recycled plastic. He wants to produce new types of visually enhanced fabrics. So that he can evaluate the potential market for their use as textiles.

Recycled Plastic has been used already in a limited way in the fashion fabric industry. Plastic seems to be qualified because of the easiness to recycle so that it can be made into flakes which can be spun as a yarn.

For Yukie one of the ways to increasing the use of recycled materials in the fashion fabric industry is to raise the look of the fabric. So variety projects checking and developing methods and techniques to shape raw fiber into texturally rich yarn and producing new types of fabric with visual qualities.

So also fashion can play a environmental role with the use of recycled plastic as a fashion fabric.

You know how many varies ways the use of fabric can have. So for example you don’t have to through an old t-shirt away. Did you know that you can make tissues with the fabric scraps of your t-shirts? Kids will love them because of the colourful fabric, you also saving money and produce eco-friendly tissues. Another great idea is to make your own pouch from fabric scraps, like recycle pants. A very common use of fabric scraps is surely to produce cleaning rags from old clothes. Pick a soft, lint free and absorbent fabric to wash your windows or clean your kitchen floor.

If you have children you can make them happy by produce clothes or other things like pillowcases for your daughter’s doll. You also can create some things for your pats like a bed out of reclaimed fabric from damages drapes or something like that. At the winter especially before Christmas you can fabricate some decorative trees made from scrap fabric. They also can be made by children and given as a charming Christmas gift.

Kids love the puppet theater. At a young age they want to look to the theatre and be entertained. When they get older they want to play with the dolls themselves. In order to offer the widest selection of different characters, parents need not dig deep into their pockets. With a little bit of creativity and commitment one can easily conjure up the own dolls. With fabric almost everything is possible. The amount of the fabric will decide on whether one prefers to tinker finger puppets or hand puppets. Fabric with animal prints offers the best possible basis for the arrival of new animals in the puppet theater. With the fabric can be tinkered very different animals, people or fictional characters.

There is no situation not possible. When parents learn to love the puppet theater as their children do, then there is no holding back soon. Every little scrap fabric is made into a doll, with which one can live through new adventures. Not only fabric but also other craft supplies, such as polystyrene balls, can be included into the manufacture of hand puppets. The best way for new inspiration is there to see the wide selection of fabric and to wait for a good idea. And it is certain that the idea will come to your mind. Perhaps one has to be patient. It depends on the highness of creativity that is inside you. It’s hard to believe the versatility of fabric. Fabric even makes children happy: The fabric puppet life is made of.

Are fashions from natural textile fabric really healthier as the much cheaper man-made fibers? Recently was developing an international certification mark for ecological fabric. Nonetheless many allergies suffer react sensitive to the new use of fabric – whether it is natural fabric or man-made fibers. So maybe the human energy system reacts different to the various fabrics.

Cashmere is one fabric which doesn’t need a chemical treatment so the reaction is very good but silk is a fabric which evokes three different reactions dependent on the rank of chemical treatment. Cotton has also a small chemical treatment and the reactions are good.

Natural textile fabric evokes a positive reaction if they are widely untreated. Expensive textile fabrics show better reactions than cheaper man-made fibers. Probably are expensive fibers gently treated so that they don’t need so much chemical substances. Man-Made fibers lead on to more or less negative reactions.

So it’s clear that the reaction to the fabric depends on the chemical treatment. Attention is important by the buy and wear of blended fabric because textile fabric which shows a negative reaction could be use for blended fabric too.

Let your photos be something special with fabric.

With a small piece of fabric you can give the picture a very personal touch. Even a few inches are enough to obtain a complete picture frame. You are free to choose whether you prefer to glue the fabric or fasten the fabric with a staple gun. If you decide for the version with the glue, fabric glue is best suited, because it adheres to the fabric in the long term. Especially shiny fabric is nice for that project, because that give the photo an air of exclusivity and elegance. Another possibility is to search a fabric, which is thematically in the same row like the photo. A photo of the last beach holiday can be framed by a sunny fabric or a fabric with water themes. There is so much fabric available that there are no limits for the creativity. Themes and colors as far as the eye can see. The best way to decide is to go with one’s gut. The picture frame can be decorated further more after the cover. You can embellish the fabric yet with flowers, beads and glitter. Or you can use less girlish accessories and design the frame with black fabric and creepy skulls. There is nothing that does not exist. Depending on the photo the photo frame can always be changed. Every living room gets a personal touch that says something about the character of the person who lives in it.

Fabric makes the world more colorful.

The care of fabric is very important. But what is the right way of fabric care? For that reason it’s necessary to know about the material quality, properties of common fibers, fabric care and cleaning.

Especially the care of upholstery can be very difficult. But there are many professional skin care products you can use for example for your sofa. There also some useful advices on cleaning and care of your sofa, like the regular vacuuming of upholstery with the vacuum cleaner or that upholstered furniture should always be cleaned from seam to seam.

But not only for upholstery is the care of fabric important. Also the fabric care of clothes is necessary. For example the cleaning of clothes is sometimes very difficult because of the different use of fabric. So it’s important to classify the washing before to do one’s laundry. It should be common that too much washing agent produce sediments and reduce the lifetime of the clothes.

We all know how hard it’s to erase stain like blood, fat, red vine or ink from clothes. But it exist as well therefore some helpful advices. So helps saltwater against a bloodstain.

As you can now see, the fabric care regardless of fabric of upholstery or clothes can be very difficult and important.

We all know the printed shirts for stag parties or other group trips. But there are moments when one might be happy to stand out from the crowd. And here is the ultimate idea to express a feeling of community without the usual shirts. With a little piece of fabric one can create a tiny button. The fabric button is an eye catcher and is viewed with envious eyes. Everyone wants to have it and you can be the pioneer. You can sew your fabric in many ways. A Shirt can be prettified by a brooch of fabric or perhaps it can be emblazed by a badge of fabric. Buttons which are made of fabric give a special touch. They represent elegance and fashionable sense of style. If you want to be one of the first people who wear that new born fashion trend, take a piece of fabric and start sewing. For every occasion, an appropriate fabric can be chosen. One advantage is that the button not necessarily belongs to a particular outfit. It can always be re-combined with all the other clothes in the wardrobe. With some little accessorizes of fabric, creativity has no limits. Fabric buttons make a dream for women come true. And this little piece of fabric is the only accessorizes that women like to share with their friends.

Perhaps you have own ideas how to create an innovative and individual fabric button. If so, then let us share your ideas. We are looking forward to new fabric results

Has it ever struck you, that there is fabric in quite unusual designs. Earlier one was glad that it was generally possible to colour the fabric. Today we cannot save ourselves from patterns and colours any more. Do you also come into a situation that your creativity is woken up if you see such fabric? Suddenly hundreds of ideas flash through your mind. Let the creativity flow. For theme parties or festivals like carnival, special innovative fabric ideas are in demand. The World Wide Web offers an amount of fabric, so that the ideas already come inexorably while surfing through it. How would it be with a sewing course?

Then you can buy your favourite fabric and realize all the ideas you have. Being able to sew is not only practical to use new fabric. It is also helpful to repair little faults on your bought clothing. Thus the clothes are preserved to you longer. Coloured fabric remnants are optimal patches for the broken trousers of the children. But also for adults, unusual fabric pieces on a jeans or something like that make fashionably a good figure. Funny fabric revalues every piece of clothing in a quite individual way. The combinations of different fabric, sometimes unusual, become a new trend in fashion.

By doing it yourself you can be one of the first trendsetters who wear such clothes. And nothing easier than this. Choose a fabric you like and combine it with the pieces of clothes that are in the wardrobe. The finest thing of fashion: It is nice what likes!

People nowadays are not only allergic to all kind of plants, fruits or animals, even more you would ever imagine are allergic to fabric. Its getting more and more a problem for them. Therfore, it is highly important that on new clothes there a is a detailed declaration of the fabric or fabrics that it is made of.

Even though most of the allergic reactions cause not more than itchy skin and redness, still it can be largely uncomfortable. However, there are allergic reactions to fabric als well that can become life-threatening. For that reasons peopple that sell or deal with fabric not only have to label them carefully, it also cant be wrong to get to know more about fabric themselves. They should for example know where it is manufactured, if its pure stuff or one are dealing with blended fabric. The more they know, the better educated the Sellers are the better.

Neveer forget the fact that for a person who is suffering from an allergy, the slightest bit can already cause serious troubles.

If you go to a store yourself and you are not sure about the fabrics 100 per cent, don´t dare to ask the Shop assistant – if they dont know themselfes follow the old saying: If in doubt leave it out! Its only for your own best!

Therfore, all kinds of shops that deal with fabric in any kind have to make sure to employ highly professional staff!

Sorce tell us that the Incas have been crafting certainr khipus that were made of fibres from a cellulose like cotton or from proteins like Spun, plied thread like wool or even hair from camelids such as Ilamas, Alpacas or camels for thousands and thousands of years. Those Kipus look contain of a series of knots along pieces of string. Preservation of khipus were found in archive collections and museum and do follow general fabric textile preservation practices.

The production of fabric belongs to one of those things that have been amazingly altered in the past through industrialization and the invetion of modern manufacturing techniques. Still, for the most known types of textiles, like weave, plain, satin or twill, there is slightly a difference between those methods they used in the past and modern methods that are known nowadys.

There still are a lot of interesting facts about that topic unexplored what is a pity on the one hand and makes it rather exciting on the other. Unresolves ridles highly inspire us!
